Creativity Expert and Award Winning Artist to be
featured at ARTV Awards Sneak Preview in Hollywood
Regional
artist, Shannon Grissom, will be featured as an ARTV award finalist at the
ARTV Preview Show in Beverly Hills on June 15 at the Museum of Television
and Radio. Grissom has been nominated in the painting category.
At the preview, all nominees,
including Honorary Lifetime Achievement Award, will be announced. There
will be celebrity guest appearances, the ARTV Film presentation, as well
as music and dancing.
Shannon Grissom is an acclaimed oil
painter living in Hollister, California. Compelled by a single note
of color, her paintings use vibrant hues to express the relationship
between color, her subjects, their environment, and the ever-present music
she loves. Grissom's artwork can be seen and purchased at several
galleries on the west coast.
Since August 2003, Grissom has also
been the host and producer of the award winning television show Give
Your Walls Some Soul, where she shares tip and techniques about
painting and creativity.
The ARTV Awards Show is the first
nationally televised event which spotlights artists in America for
achievement and excellence. The red-carpet awards program will take
place in Las Vegas on October 28 at the MGM Grand.
Following the awards, the winner's
artwork will tour the United States.
